SendGrid CRM Integration

Step-by-Step Integration & Email Validation Workflow

Connect once, pull your SendGrid contacts, and run them through No2Bounce validation: Deliverable, Risky, or Undeliverable, without leaving your dashboard.

August 20, 2026

Prerequisites

  • An active No2Bounce account with access to Email Validations > Integrations
  • A SendGrid account with API access enabled
  • Your SendGrid API Key (SendGrid dashboard > Settings > API Keys): no separate API URL required
  • Sufficient credit balance: validation costs 1 credit per record

Step 1: Go to Integrations & Click Connect on SendGrid

Log in to your No2Bounce account. In the left sidebar, click Email Validations, then open the Integrations tab.

You'll see your other connected tools alongside SendGrid, which shows a Connect button. Click it to begin the setup.

Step 2: Review What the Connection Enables

A panel opens outlining what connecting SendGrid allows No2Bounce to do: access your email lists to verify and clean records, synchronize verified lists back to improve deliverability, monitor deliverability metrics, integrate validation results with your SendGrid campaigns in real time, and view live verification stats.

Click Allow Access to continue.

Step 3: Enter Your SendGrid API Key

Unlike some other integrations, SendGrid connects with a single API Key, with no separate API URL or OAuth exchange needed. Find your key in the SendGrid dashboard under Settings > API Keys, paste it into the field, and click Next.

Enter your SendGrid API Key and click Next.

The API Key is the only credential SendGrid requires. There's no separate endpoint URL to configure.

Step 4: SendGrid Is Now Connected

Once your key is accepted, you're returned to the Integrations dashboard. The SendGrid card now shows a green CONNECTED badge, and a Manage Connection option appears so you can review or disconnect it at any time.

Step 5: Select Your List & Choose Columns

On the SendGrid Integration page, choose the contact list you want to work with from the tabs at the top. Under Choose Columns, select which fields to import: Email, First Name, Last Name, and Phone are all available. Then click Load Data to preview your records.

Select a list, choose your columns, and click Load Data to preview records.

The Email column must always be selected: it is required for the validation process to run correctly.

Step 6: Select Records & Click Validate Now

Your contacts load into a table. Use Select All, Clear Selection, Custom Select, or the batch selection slider to choose exactly which records you want to validate. Once you're happy with the selection, click Validate Now.

Select records using the batch selection tools, then click Validate Now.

Step 7: Set Your Validation Preferences

The Validation Preferences dialog asks you to confirm which column holds the email address (Validation Field), and lets you map an optional Score Field. It previews the records you've selected and shows how many credits the run will use before you commit.

Confirm your Validation Field and Score Field, then click Start Validation.

Credit usage: credits are debited based on the number of email addresses processed. Each email consumes 1 credit. Runs are capped at 100,000 records.

Step 8: Watch Your Validation Progress

After starting validation, a circular progress indicator tracks completion in real time. The Validation History table below logs every run, including ones still in progress, with date, source, record counts, and status.

Step 9: Review Results & Export

Once a run reaches 100%, results are broken down into Deliverable, Risky, and Undeliverable. From Validation History, use Export Options to download all emails, deliverable only, or undeliverable only. Downloads stay available for 7 days after each run.

Understanding Your Results

Every validated email is sorted into one of three categories, shown as a live percentage breakdown on the Validation Progress page:

  • Deliverable: valid, safe to send
  • Risky: catch-all or uncertain; send with caution
  • Undeliverable: invalid, do not send
